General Waste
General waste refers to products that are no longer of use, made up of various waste streams. While it does include most of the things you may consider to be “rubbish”, it does not comprise of liquids or hazardous waste. When hiring a skip bin, other exclusions may include food waste and soil, among other things.
Cleanfill / Hardfill
Clean hard fill is comprised of items such as concrete, bricks and stones. The “clean” in clean hard fill means that the waste is not contaminated by any other form of waste. These skip bins are typically used for worksites and construction companies, as well as DIY’ers.
Green Garden Waste
Green waste is composed of waste products that are biodegradable, which means they can easily break down and become a part of the earth again. This is typically made from garden waste, such as grass clippings and weeds. It is “green” because it is high in nitrogen, as opposed to brown waste, which is predominantly carbonaceous.
